The Diploma de Español Lengua Extranjera (DELE) is an official qualification attesting to a command of the Spanish language issued by the Instituto Cervantes (the Government of Spain’s official organisation for promoting Spanish). It is recognised internationally and valid indefinitely. It can be obtained by sitting and passing the appropriate exam (there are three examination sessions each year).
DELE certificates are internationally recognized and valid indefinitely. They enjoy great prestige, not only among public and private educational institutions and authorities, but also in the business world and in Chambers of Commerce.
It can be obtained by sitting and passing the appropriate exam. The University of León's Language Centre is an Official DELE Test Centre and offers its students various testing periods along with DELE preparatory courses.
